The longer duration should not be read as simply extra time on the quad bike. It refers to the whole package. Ask how the time is divided between transfer, waiting, activities and the meal. The ride lasts 15 to 20 minutes there, and 15 minutes on the tour with the quad bike. On the quad bike of the long tour, two people share a double quad for 40 minutes. If you are riding with a child, you need to know beforehand whether the child may ride along and whether an adult does the driving; this question should not come up only at the start.
