The shortest choices take about an hour and focus on the hammam itself. Others add a massage and run for roughly 90 minutes to three hours. Four- and five-hour experiences combine the ritual with a souk tour, Berber breakfast or romantic dinner, so they require a substantial part of the day.

If you mainly want to try the bathing ritual, look for a listing that names its stages: steam, black soap, a kessa scrub or ghassoul. If massage matters more, compare the stated massage time rather than the total booking length. One card specifies 45 minutes and another 60 minutes, while several simply say “massage”. A facial is optional in one package and should not be assumed elsewhere.

Couples may like the massage-and-dinner combination, but its title does not promise treatments together or a private room. One option is explicitly for women only. Families should ask about accepted ages, shared spaces and whether they can remain together. Group size is not consistently shown, so confirm it if it affects your comfort.

Choose the time of day around the rest of your plans. A one-hour treatment can sit between sightseeing stops; a package with transport or a meal deserves a looser half-day without a tight appointment afterwards.
